30th anniversary and AGM 2003.
In view of the AGM Canadian section that will be held may the 1st,2nd, 3rd 2003 in Montreal we would like to take the opportunity of inviting you to come celebrate with us our 30th anniversary of adhesion to International Police Association.
L'Auberge Universel located 5000, Sherbrooke Est Montréal will be the host Hotel for the festivities.
Activites
We propose those activities to our guests:
May 1st A 3 hour cruise on St-Lawrence River.
May 2nd Montreal city tour of 3 hour plus a diner with the delegates at the Molson Brewery.
May 3rd A country site excursion of 8 fabulous hours, visiting a austrich farm, traditional meal visit of an apple cider and chocolate factory, and a banquet with the members of the general assembly at Auberge Universel.
A.G.M.tour
At the end of the A.G.M. we propose to our guests a 9 days quided tour to discover our beautiful part of the country. Departure will be May 4th at the end of the A.G.M.
Day 1 May 4th Early departure for the city of Shawinigan for a complete visite of "La Cité de l'Énergie" followed by a city tour and a visite to the falls. Hotel for the night.
Day 2 May 5th After breakfast, we head for Lac Edouard for a complete day at the village Innusit. Take advatange of the outdoor activities and sports on the site such as canoing, rabascing archery etc. Super will be followed by a camp fire and animation before settling down for the night to sleep in a real Indian Teepee.
Day 3 May 6th After your harding breakfast, visit the handicraft store for personel souvenirs before we take the road towards Roberval. Our next stop is Masteuiatsh. A montagnais Indian reserve. Visite the museum. After dinner we visit the Wild Zoo of St-Félicien where the animals are free to room as they please while the humans are caged during the visit. We then continue to Roberval. Souper. Check in at your hotel for the night.
Day 4 May 7th Breakfast will be followed by a visit of the ghost town of Val-Jalbert. After dinner we head for Chicoutimi for a visit of the old pulp & Paper plant and the cross of St-Anne wich offers a splendid panoramique sight of the city. Our nex stop is Tadoussac. Check in a your hotel for the night.
Day 5 May 8th Breakfast will be followed by a whale watching boat ride on the St-lawrence river where we will be able to observe the largest mammals known to man. We then continue our tour towards Quebec's old capital city-Québec. Before arriving however, we will make two stops. The first will be to visit the world famous pilgrimage site known as Ste-Anne's Basilica in Beaupré and the second will be to observe the Montmorency falls. We arrive in Quebec city late afternoon. Check in at your hotel for the night. Rest of the evening at your leasure.
Day 6 May 9th Breakfast at the hotel. Québec city tour,Observatory. Québec is the only fortified city in North America. Sleep in Québec.
Day 7 May 10th Breakfast and departure for the city of Drummondville. Visit the Village Québecois d'Antan see how they use to leave at the begining of the century. Visit the town of St-Adèle and sleep at the Chateau Montebello the world's largest logwood structure.
Day 8 May 11th Breakfast and we take a short city tour before visiting the parlement building. Sleep in Ottawa.
Day 9 May 12th breakfast at the hotel and admire the million of tulips in Ottawa. Back to Montreal, farwell diner in the "little Italy". Sleep at Auberge Universel.
The tour includes: Transportation by deluxe coach, the service of a qualified guide, 9 nights accomodation in a 3 stars or better hotel, 8 breakfast and some lunch, city tour and visits as outlined in the itinary, a sleeping bag for the night spend in the Indian Teepee, baggage handling (1 piece per passager) include All taxes.
The cost not include: Transportation other than that which in specified, insurance, meals other than those provide by the tour, optional activites, visite etc. Tips to the chauffeur and guide.
Cost of the activities during the A.G.M.

3- Diner at Molson Brewery (beer include) $40.00/adult

Cost of the A.G.M. tour
Approximately 1,900.00 dollars per person. It will be determine by the nomber of person attending.

Coast of the room at Auberge Universel is $110.00 per night, single,double or quadruple occupation.
All inscription have to be made before March 15th 2003.
All delegates are required to stay at the host hotel and to contact them to confirm their reservations. Registration date before March, 15th 2003.
